THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT

TEXT: GAL 5:22 – 23 

The Holy Ghost shall come upon you and out of worm shall flow rivers of many water.  The fruit of the spirit, how many of you bought some fruit this week.

Why do we eat fruit?

1.       We eat fruit because it taste good

2.       We eat fruit because it makes us healthy

3.       And fruit also contain some vitamins that are useful to our body.

 And Jesus said I am the vine and yea are the branches. That literally means that we are trees. Spiritual trees, say amen to that! We have natural trees, and spiritual trees.

It is only a tree, plants or crops that can bear fruit. And every tree is expected to bear, fruit of its kind. And Jesus is say every branch in the vine the beard not fruit shall be cut off, so you are the branch in the vine you are expected to bear fruit, the holy sprite is like a tree,

because he has fruit he bears, when he came ion us, that is why in he bible GAL 5:22 -23 is talking about a kind of fruit, that has a greater benefit than he natural fruit we ate, and he is the fruit of the spirit, the bible say the fruit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control , against such things there is no law, the Christian character is the fruit of the spirit, and every Christian will bear spiritual fruit some wear, some time and somehow, otherwise the person is not a believer , and is the goal of a Christian life is Christ likeness , then every character of a believer ought to reflect that. 

    So when we talk about the fruit of the spirit, we mean the Holy Spirit produce the character, the natural and qualities of Christ in us, enabling us to live the God kind of life here on earth. The life of purity, the life of Joy, a sanctified life, a holy life, a life of perfection Hallelujah.

The fruit of the Holy Spirit, I call it the nine grace; the nine visible attribute of a true Christian life. They are the nine type of life in Christ character that will be transfer into you this week in the name of Jesus Christ.

RECEIVING THE WORD

So to show the fruit of the spirit, we must first be filled with the Holy Spirit. You can manifest the fruit of the spirit, when the Holy Spirit, the producer of the fruit is not in you. Because by our own effort, we will not be able to produce this fruit, that is why the bible says ye shall receive power when the Holy Ghost comes upon you (power for what?)

1.       Power to bear fruit of the spirit.

2.       Power to do explored for God.

You will receive power to be kind to all men. Power for gentleness, power to have self- control over your negative feeling, Power for faithfulness.

READING FROM THE BIBLE

That power shall come upon you; receive it in the great name of Jesus. God is looking for men and women who will be open up to Him, and say fill me today with your Holy Ghost and fire.  And the Holy Ghost will come upon them and they shall bear fruit of the spirit, are you ready for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Do you want the Holy. Ghost to fill you and begin to bear His fruit in you rise on your feet
