FLOODGATE OF THE SPIRIT

TEXT: EZEKIEL 47:1-10, ISAIAH 44:3, JOHN 7:37, ACTS 2:1-4

If you know that you are going home with power, rise up and shout Amen. Whatever that was dead in you, by the force of the Holy Spirit, comes back to life in the mighty name of Jesus. If God does not kill you, no man can bury you. In this month of May you will not die, your children will not die. Your children, business, marriage will not die. You shall be protected by the power of the Holy Ghost in the name of Jesus.

Hear me! No man is too small for Gods attention. And no problem is too large for God intervention. After these experiences, heaven shall intervene in your case in the name of Jesus.

In Acts 2:1-4 the bible say it was the day of Pentecost. They were in one accord, suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind and there appear unto them cloven tongue like fire and sat upon them and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and begin to speak In tongues.

Hear me! The book of acts is the genesis of the New Testament church just as the book of Genesis is the beginning of all things in the Old Testament. The story of the book of act opens us into the upper room prayer meeting where there was an outpouring of the Holy Ghost upon the New Testament church. Which makes the New Testament church to pass through the oven of Pentecost, and becomes a powerful body on earth? Say amen to that.

When god descended on Mount Sinai at the given of the law, that control the Old Testament church, there was a thunder experience, lighting, thick cloud, trumpet blast and smoke experience. In Exodus 19:16-18. All these mark the explosion of the Old Testament church. But when the New Testament church arrived, he came with wind, a tongue was experience. The bible says, they were in one accord, suddenly, there came the pneumatic power of the Holy Ghost upon them and they began to speak in tongues.

Why did they spoke in tongue? They spoke in tongues because the tongues was missional, which means that we are all missionaries on earth. They spoke in tongue because the tongue shows that the gospel is for all language and for all nations. It is for the poor, the rich and for every tribe.

Why do we speak in tongues? We speak in tongue because it reminds us that we need to take the gospel across our own tongue or languages. That is we need to share the gospel in our homes, nabourhood, etc. so the Holy Spirit is not for bench worming. It is for evangelism to witness to others about what Christ did for humanity. Say amen to that.

The floodgate of the spirit speaks of an overflowing present of the Holy Spirit upon a man’s life. I called it the ocean of the Spirit. This is a level where you are engulfed totally and carried by the Holy Spirit. In Ezekiel 47:3-4 the bible say Ezekiel experience the raising flow of the anointing  from his ankle to his knees and then to His loins, thereafter there was a flood of the Spirit that was like the river that carried him. After this encounter, the Holy Ghost shall fill you to his overflowing capacity in the name of Jesus. In Isaiah 44:3 He said for I will pour water upon him that is thirsty and flood upon the dry ground, I will pour spirit upon thy seed and my blessing upon thine offspring.

Water in this content represents the Holy Spirit Gen 1:2.  So every spiritual dryness in your life, receive the water of the Spirit, let there be a flood of the Holy Ghost upon you now in Jesus name.

In john 7:37-38 He said in the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried saying; if any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink. He that believes on me, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Are you thirsty of carrying God power? Do you want God to flow through you to bless your generation? Do you want to be a terror to all forces of darkness on earth? Then ask God to fill you, to the overflowing level of His Spirit.

PRAYER

·        OH Lord, let the overflowing Spirit come upon me.

·        May I be carried by the Spirit
