Romans 2 :1A , 1 King 7:3- 12
God is tired of our excuses, when it comes to our
services for Him or other areas of our life. So if we want to be all that god
has called us to be as a church and as an individual believer we must stop
making excuses, because excuse gives us permission to settle for less than Gods
best for our life.
Every time you make excuses, it slows you down, it
makes you feel inferior; so no more excuses from today.
You will overcome
that illness in your life, in the name of Jesus.
What is excuse?
Excuse is a reason we
give for not doing what someone else expects us to us to do or not getting to
the height we are expected to be in our life.
Man is known for
giving excuses from his origin, and never expects blame for his failures and
his actions, and his ways.
Man is an expert of
shifting blame to others, in giving excuses.
Man has never own up
to his failures, bad action, he must find who to blame for it. He must always
have excuses for not doing well, for not succeeding, for not making it in life.
Stop making excuses
and start taking responsibilities of your poor performance in your life and
your walk with God.
Adam walked with God, in Genesis and was
giving names to animals and all that the Lord has created, but when he fell he
refused to owe up to his actions, he refused to take the responsibilities of
his failures, he started giving excuses and blame God and the woman and Eve
refused to accept the blame, she turned it to the serpent which is an animal.
But the serpent kept quiet and accepted the responsibilities and took the rulership
from man. That is why when men see some wild animals he ran for his life.
Why, because he
failed to take responsibility for his action. From today no more excuse.
In 2Kings 7:3- 10 –
the four leprous men refused to give excuses, why they cannot survive. They
refused to give excuses and seat down and die. They took courage and took
responsibility and move.
Their action that day
made them wealthy leprous men.
You have no excuse to
remain hopeless in life.
No excuse to be a
drop out from school
No excuse to remain a
drug addict
No excuse not to
serve God and obey His voice
No excuse to fail
your exams in school
No excuse to be a bed
wife or husband
No excuse for you not
to be born again.
Thou art inexcusable
o man,
There is no excuse to
be a bad boy or girl in school
You have no excuse
not to be a graduate.
No excuse not to be a
married man or woman by now.
How long will you
stay where you are and be pointing hand and be giving excuse? Arise and take
responsibility, arise work hard and come out from idleness, for it is time to
make it.
v I
pray for you, Every yolk of excuses, tying
your destiny down is destroyed in Jesus name.
v From
today you will take bold step for your greatness in Jesus name.
v You
will make it in life in the name of Jesus.
PRAYER
1. You
evil power of excuses at work in my life catch fire in the name of Jesus
2. Oh
Lord give me grace to make it in my life
3. Oh
Lord remove the spell of useless living from my life
