SEVEN BENEFITS OF PRAISE

PSALM 149:1-9, EXODUS 15:11

Praise is God’s delicacy, and anytime you praise him, you are in for a rising to the top of your destiny

God inhabits our praise, so if you want to attract Gods’ intervention, in your life challenges, then praise must not depart from your mouth

If God lives in praise, it therefore means that He dies in murmuring and complaining

The only environment that makes God powerless is the environment of complaining. A complainer hinders God’s power from manifesting on his behalf

Are you sure you are not the one delaying your miracles?

You have complained and murmured over the years not knowing that you are rendering God powerless, on your behalf.

If you will start to give him praise, you will start experiencing a rising in every area of your life, victory over your life challenges will be a common thing in your hand.

Pastor what are the seven benefits of praise,

1. GOD’S POWER – EXODUS 15:11 SAYS

‘’Who is like unto thee, O lord, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness fearful in praises, doing wonders’’

God’s power manifest when praise is activated, in this life you cannot live without power. Life is a battle, and only the powerful can overcome.

In Exodus 15:11 says “God is fearful in praises, doing wonders’’ if you want God to display His power in your life, you must begin to praise him

2. GOD’S BLESSING- PSALM 67:5-7  

‘’ Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.

Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our God, shall bless us.

God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear thee.

The best and most secure way to break the curses over your life or family is to give God ceaseless praise

Praise is like a fertilizer that gives you a better and faster yield. Whatever area you desire increase, praise is the key no matter how hard your field is, praise is the softener, and the commander of increase. So cultivate an attitude of praising God, in difficult and good times, and see the wonders of praise

3. GOD’S WONDERS- JOSHUA 6:13-20 says

Verse 20- ‘’ So the people shouted when the priest blew with the trumpet: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city,

Great wonders are wrought through praises, how do you explain the conquest of Jericho?

-It is simply God’s wonders; praises commit God to act on behalf of the praise

4. GOD’S PRESENCE- PSALM 22:3 SAYS

‘’But thou art Holy, Oh thou that inhabits the praises of Israel 

Tells us that God dwells in the praise of his people, to attract God’s presence, you must give him praise, in his presence there is fullness of joy and pleasures for evermore.

5. GOD’S GLORY- 2 CHRONICLES 15:13-14 – says

‘’ That whatsoever would not seek the lord God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.

And they swear unto the lord with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpet, and with cornets.

Praise is what attracts the cloud of God’s Glory, Do you still remember the experience of the children of Israel in the wilderness during the Day the pillar of cloud was there to direct and protect them, to bring this same cloud over your life, you must give God’s praise and when the cloud is full, it will bring forth the remain of God’s blessings, and what makes the cloud full is your praise

Is your cloud full?

Increase your life style of praise and you will begin to experience the rain of his glory.

6. GOD’S BACKING:

The account in 2 chronicles 20:20 says

‘’And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitant of Jerusalem; believe in the lord your God, so shall ye be established, believe his prophets , so shall ye prosper’’.

 This is a mystery. How on earth could you go to battle against five fearful nations with instrument of praise? Confronting ammunition with trumpet and cymbals?

This is in balance; God is the only one that can do this. So humble yourself and develop the attitude of praise; because invisible battles are won in the atmosphere of praise

7. GOD’S DELIVERANCE: ACTS 16:25 says

‘’And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

What praise does is to deliver you from trouble and in trouble, what do you do in the midnight hour of your destiny?

 Before Paul and Silas came in, their prison door remained lock, because their mouth was also locked, but when they open their mouth to praise God, they had unusual deliverance.

So when your mouth is open in praise it will move the power of God to open every prison door in your life, because everywhere God finds praise He comes down personally,

·       I pray for you, as you go praising God, you will have an open heaven in the name of Jesus

·       Whatever looks like a close door in your business be open by the force of praise in the name of Jesus.

·       As you go praising God this week may deliverance be your portion in the name of Jesus

1.  Oh lord give me fresh grace to cultivate an attitude of praise each day in the name of Jesus

2.  I overcome my enemies by the force of in the name of Jesus
