40:9 – 14, 23
Prison is a limitation, movement are restricted in prison, there is no freedom in prison. Prison is a place of suffering; you have no comfort in prison. Destiny are wasted in prison, prison is a place where a hopeful man become hopeless. No matter how long you have been in that prison, you are coming out tonight, your prison life will be over.
In Gen 40: 23, The cup bearer disappointed Joseph, for two
years he did not remember Joseph nor keep to his promise. Do not put your trust
or hope in man, for man may fail
you, (Jeremiah 17: 5). So it was not the cup bearer that remembered Joseph but it was God whose appointed time has come to take Joseph out of the prison. It was God’s time to work a miracle in the life Joseph. When your appointed time of miracle comes, everything begin to change to accommodate the plans of your destiny, things begin to move in a dramatic proportion to favour you. This was pharaoh the greatest King in the then known world, the mightiest ruler of the then civilized world. Very few people were privileged to enter presence of Pharaoh. As a King to enter his presence, there was official formalities but all official formalities gave way for Joseph in a moment. In a moment you can be favoured with the present of a King, in a moment your prison life can be over. In Gen. 41: 29 – 42. The bible says and Joseph interpreted dream of the King and receive a royal treatment. He received a presidential escort, he went in as a slave and came out as a King. He went in as a prisoner and came out as a freeman.
He went in wearing coat and
came out wearing a royal regalia, he went in wearing a cap and came out wearing
a crown, he went in without a walking stick but when he came out; he was
carrying a kingly staff of authority. After tonight you are going home with a
staff of authority, you are coming out from the prison of dead, suffering. You
are coming out from the prison of frustration. A king is looking for you this
month, a key of solution is in your hands. You will give solution to nation in
the name of Jesus
