TOPIC: REQUIREMENT FOR EXPANSION

Text: 2 kings 6:1-7, 1^st chronicle 4:9-10

In the race of life, your content determine your extent, that is what you have within you tells how far you can go in the race of life. It takes determination to start a race but it takes consistency to finish the race. Because the quality of your life is trace to the quality of what you know. So your authority ends,
where your knowledge ends. Because where your knowledge ends that is the beginning of your problem.

In case you are confronted with mountains of problem, I see God leveling them this week, in the mighty name of Jesus. Supernatural Expansion means expanding above the imagination of men. Being bigger; expanding on every side. In the physical, metals expands when heat is applied. So also in the spiritual, when the supernatural heat of the Holy Ghost comes upon you this month. You will experience material expansion, financial expansion, physical expansion, business expansion in the mighty name of Jesus.

So what are the requirements for expansion?

1.    You must have the desire for expansion: Every change begins with a burning desire. They said, this place had become too small for us, let us build another bigger one that will contain us, and they did. So no matter what you have, you can have more and that begins with a strong desire; A weak desire, does no inspire you to pay necessary price for the desired change. So until you are fed-up with where you are, you will not do whatever it takes to achieve something bigger and better. So have a strong desire for expansion.

2.    Decide to Expand: most people desires never become reality because they do not decide to act upon it . until your desire becomes a decision, it will never take off, because your choice determine your destiny not chance; so desire greatness and go for it; Take a decision to move to your higher ground.

3.    Prayer: And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying Oh that you would bless me indeed and enlarge my coast and that your hand might be with me and that you would keep me from evil that may grieve me and God granted him that which he requested. That if may grieve me and God granted him that which he requested. Hear this Divine assistance is available to those who ask through prayer, so as you pray expect the Lord to answer your prayer.

4.    Expand the Kingdom of God:- Become, a soul-winner. These people work for the expansion of the house of the sons of the prophets, so laboring for expansion of God House, qualifies you for favour. God favours those who labour for Him. What you make happen for you.  The key to kingdom reward is in kingdom work. I know thy works behold I have set before thee an open door and no man can shut   it. We are save by grace but we are rewards by our works. Grace gives access into the kingdom but works is what guarantees our rewards, so open doors are reward for kingdom work. Read Ruth 2:12, 2 chron. 15:7, 2 chron. 29:1-11. No idle Christian will earn a crown from God; The well celebrated Apostle Paul talks of the crown of glory waiting for him in heaven on the account of His work 2 Tim. 4:7,8. It is imperative for you, therefore to serve the Lord faithfully with all your heart to generate such open doors of blessing that comes directly from God. You shall not miss your rewards in Jesus name.
