ON EAGLEAS WINGS PART 2

Text : Isaiah 40:30-31

   When the bibles talks about waiting upon the lord, the bible is referring to our complete trust. That is trusting God with our complete lives. Waiting on the lord here is not all about staying away from food with the name fasting, No study of God’s word, No prayer, No meditation,  No trust in God’s ability to handle our situation.

    They that wait upon the lord mean completely trusting God in all impossible situations that, with God there is possibilities. IT involves looking to God as our source of help and grace in time of needs.

     Those who wait upon the lord, that is , those who trust God in need, they are

Promised the following.

1.    The strength of God to revive them in the mist of tiredness/weakness, suffering/trails.

2.    The ability to rise above your difficulties like an eagle that sours into the sky to receive grace and soar above your worries in Jesus name.

3.    They that wait upon the lord shall receive the abilities to run spiritually without tiring and to walk steadily forward without fainting or backsliding. Receive grace to mount up with wings like eagle in Jesus name.

    If you and i will wait patiently and trust in God, he will bless us with his sustaining grace and we will stand to gain great benefits.

The benefit of trusting God beyond limit

Ø We will partner with the Holy Spirit Luke 2:25, Luke 2:36-38

Ø Strength shall be received upon us Isa 40:31a, Luke 22:43

Ø We shall mount up with wings like eagles. That is Nothing will be able to knock us off balance so easily Isa 40:31b

Ø If we wait on the lord we will become great witness of his faithfulness. Isa 1:10-20

God does not wait for anyone to wait upon him, when it comes to waiting upon the lord; we have choices to make for ourselves.

1.    We can decide to be God by ourselves by manipulating our circumstances to get what we want. Which will not be God’s perfect will for us? That is why many ends up in disaster and will cry: But I prayed?... yes you prayed. Did you wait?

2.    We may choose to be impatience and turn away from God.

3.    Having it in mind that God has our best interest at heart we may choose to wait and trust God indeed

     Child of God, waiting on the lord requires Faith, patience and Humility. Rushing beyond your shadow is never a good idea that can keep you on the eagle’s wings. I pray that we all would wait and trust in God with Joy, believing that there is trust in God. The bible says: God act on behalf of those who trust Him. It may not be your season, but His provision will surely come if we wait upon Him.

                                Let pray

1.    Oh lord help my unbelief, help me to completely trust in you, In Jesus name.

2.    Oh lord deliver me from shame and reproach in Jesus name.   

3.    Oh lord renew my strength, may i partner with the holy spirit in Jesus Name.

4.    Oh lord this year may I mount up with wings as eagles in Jesus name.

5.    May I soar never to crash in 2016 in Jesus name.

6.    Oh lord carry me on eagles wings all thought my life in Jesus name.
