TEXT: Gen 41:52, gen 26:12-14
Fruitfulness is a sign of life and a
source of deep satisfaction, it is what the Gardner expect when he plant a seed
to grow in a vine yard.
The Bible often uses fruit to
describe the product of our life, that is to say a fruitful Christian will
produce better result. In proverbs 11:30 the Bible says the fruit of the
righteous is a tree of life. No wonder the Bible says in Psalm 1:3, and he
shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his
fruit in his season.
This is your season; abundance awaits
you this week in the name of Jesus. So fruit is the direct result of whatever controls
our heart. By their fruit we know them because fruitfulness is our birthright;
and as our birthright, we are not at the mercy of the devil in this area of
fruitfulness (he has no say her) because the divine ability to be productive is
inherited from God by man, why?
Because God the father is a gardener,
so when you read the history of Joseph and Isaac, you will come to understand
that both of them were covenant children. And for them to succeed they must
operate through the covenant. That is why fruitfulness is a covenant. When
Joseph had his second son, the Bible says he called his name Ephraim meaning
fruitfulness. And Isaac the covenant child sow in the time of famine, and
harvested a hundredfold. Why?
Because the voice of covenant was
speaking in his life. Now this covenant was extended to us through blood line.
The death of Christ on the Cross, we also become covenant children. So by
covenant poverty has no place in our life. We were born to be fruitful and
fruitfulness is our birthright, so if fruitfulness is a covenant than it means
that we have a part to play and God has his.
If we must arrive at the place of
fruitfulness. What is covenant? A
covenant is a contract and a law, and there are terms that guide every contract.
There is something you must do for God to establish the covenant of
fruitfulness in your life.
In Exodus 23:25-26 he said, and ye
shall serve the lord the lord your God and He shall bless thy bread and thy
water and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. They shall not cast
their young nor be barren in the land, the number of the day I will fulfill.
The major word of the key word there
is ‘’serve” “you shall serve the Lord your God”. That is one of the covenant
demands for fruitfulness. Now serving God is more than going to Church and
listening to messages “NO” but serving God is you being involved practically in
carrying out certain service in the house of God. That means you must serve God
with your time, your energy, your finances and your substance, everything. So
don’t be a bench warmer in the church, look for opportunity to be physically
involved in a service group or department, not as a supervisor but as a true
worker, working for God under-minding your position in the society, office. Be
a true worker in the house of God. Whether you are a sweeper, usher or teaching
in the Sunday school. Whatever you are doing, do it with your heart and God
will shower you with his blessing.
Some people sneak in and out of Church,
not contributing to anything and they are wondering why they are not blessed,
don’t you know that until you prove your commitment to the kingdom of God. He
also will not be committed to the issue of your life. You want to use God to
satisfy your heart desire but you don’t want god to use you to fulfill his
purpose on earth.
He said “do to others what you want
others to do to you. If you want God to put your case on his priority list,
then make his Kingdom business number one priority of your life.
In Matthew 6:23 it says “seek ye
first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be
added to you. As you get committed to kingdom service, with all your heart and
without grumbling or doing it for eye service.
Because you are not doing it unto man
but to God and when God sees you in the secret, He will reward you openly.
Another way to make the covenant of fruitfulness work for you is through
sacrificial giving, when you bring a worthy and acceptable sacrifice unto the
Lord, He becomes committed to fulfill his word in your life.
He said gather my saint together unto
me, those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. What have you
sacrificed for God that command fruitfulness into your destiny?
This week;
·
You
will enter into your season of unstoppable harvest in the name of Jesus.

Your
ground shall be fruitful

store shall be fruitful
