TOUCHED BY GRACE

TEXT: ACTS 9:3 – 7, 15, 16, 17

This week whereever you are, the hand of grace will touch you. He will touch your marriage, health, business, soul in the mighty name of Jesus.

When grace touch a man, He does not leave him the way He found him. In other wors, when grace met a person he turns into a saint, it removes the burden of guilt and condemnation from his heart, and put in him the burden for righteousness, holiness and hunger for envagelism. So grace does not leave you the way He met you.

It is grace that makes the difference in our life because He developes in us a life of truth, a life of godliness and a life of righteousness. He helps us to deny ungodliness and wordly lust. Grace enables us to live soberly and righteously in this world.

So grace met peter after denying Jesus thrice in Luke 22:61 – 62, the bible says, tears of repentance flows from his eyes and the Joy of transformation grib his heart and from that day, He was no longer peter the fisher man, but peter the rock upon which I will build my church and the gate of hell shall not prevail against it.

After this encounter, every gate of hell shall scatter at your present in the name of Jesus.  In Acts 9:3 – 7, the bible told us that there was a man whose name was saul, who was sual of tarsus before his confession. Saul of tarsus was a pharisee from the tribe of benjamin (phi 3:5). He was born in AD5 in the city of tarsus in cilica(which is the present turkey today). As a young boy he grew up in Jerusalem and become a student of gamaliel, he was born by a jewish parent.

Saul was present when stephen eas stoned to dealth for the gospel, because the executioners laid their garment at the feet of saul. Saul was the one who arrested all the believers in jerusalem and sentenced them to prison and execution. He was an anti-christian, that is he was against the gospel of our lord Jesus christ.

In Act 9:2 the bible says he also met the High Priest and took letter of permission to go to damascus and arrest christians and bring them back to Jerusalem to imprison them and execute them. But on the way to damascus, the bible says grace found him, grace met him and touch him. That single touch changed him ffrom a persecutor to a witnesser of the gospel, changed him from a destroyer of saints to a seeker of the lost, changed him from imprisoning the saints to releasing the lost from the powers of darkness, you are not too hard that grace can not change you this morning.

If it met saul on his way to damascus with bad intention and change him. He will meet you wherever you are today and change you, grace will find you, grace is looking for you, I can hear him shouting your name. my daughter where are you, I came that you may have life and have it more abundantly. Where are you? Grace is looking for you.

PRAYER

Can you lift up your hand and begin to accept Jesus as your lord and saviour, ask Him to come into your heart right now.

·       Grace will direct your path this week in the mighty name of Jesus.

·       By the force of grace this week; I see all your enemies destroyed in the name of Jesus.
