WISDOM FOR DIFFERENCE 5

TEXT: 1 KING 3:3 – 10, 16 – 27

Raise your voice and declare this word to yourself. This is my year celebration, turning point and fulfillment. If you believe it shout a loud Amen. Unusual gift from the lord will locate you in the mighty name of Jesus. This day marks the end of foolishness in your life, from today a wise and understanding heart is coming on you in the great name of Jesus. The riches and honor of the lord will locate you this day.

Life have taught me that success is not determined by what you have but by what you do with what you have. In other words, it is not what you have that makes you successful but what makes you make out of what you have that makes you successful. That is to say the state of your mind will determine the outcome of your life. So an inferior mentality will keep you inferior. Inferior mentality can hinder you from possessing your throne in life. A wrong mentality will lead you into poverty. A wrong mill will lead you into frustration. For as a man think in his heart, so is he. In other words, a man who cannot reason is in prison because when your reasoning power is dead, it means your brain has nothing to offer your world. That is why I will always say knowledge is useless, until it is transformed into benefit through action. (What you know bring benefit into life) so what are thinking about yourself? What are you thinking about yourself this year? Transform it into action, so that you can benefit from it because until knowledge is transformed into action, it cannot bring you into greatness. In our text 1 king 3:3 – 10 and 16 – 27.you see in life everything is given by principles. In giving there is a principle, for you to be wealthy in life, there is a principle, for you to have long life there is a principle. So life is govern by principle, which Solomon knew very well. For you to receive anything from God, the Bible says give and it shall be given to you. He said asked and ye shall receive. (that is the principle).

For  you to have long life, the bible says children honor your father and mother that your day may be long on earth. That is the principle for long life.

Solomon knew that he is not permitted to come into the present of God empty (EXED 23:15), which is one of the principle of attraction the attention of God to yourself. He also knew that for him to get from God, he have to give something, not giving anything he has but giving what that cause him something 2 Samuel 24:24. The bible says a thousand burnt offering did Solomon offer upon the alter. Why did Solomon offer such a sacrifice?

1.    It is because Solomon knew that no man achieve great success if he is unwilling to make personal sacrifice. No man who is unwilling to make personal sacrifices can achieve great success.

2.    He needed something from the lord and that is a wise and understanding heart to lead and ordered his life well. In verse 7 he said I am a little child, I know not how to go out or come in. in verse 9 He said give thy servant wisdom which is profitable to direct. The bible said in all thy getting, get wisdom, get understanding. For she shall bring honor unto thee. Solomon sacrifice and prayer cause God to speak in verse 11. By your sacrifice this month God will respond to your prayers. In verse 11 God said because thou has asked this things and has not asked for long life and riches. But have asked for wisdom. In verse 12 God said I have done it, I have given to thee a wise and understanding heart. In verse 13 God said I have also given to you what you didn’t ask for, which are riches and honor. Solomon sacrifice caused him to have an encounter with God that change his destiny. Wisdom for difference; after that sacrifice, Solomon contact wisdom that distinguished him among other king. In 1st king 3:16 – 27, God brought him a case that will manifest his wisdom upon Solomon ( the two harlot with the baby). That case brought promotion unto him. After this minute you shall be promoted. Today I don’t know who want to contact the same Solomon kind of wisdom, I don’t know who want to offer a sacrifice here this month to have encounter with God for change of destiny. I am going to offer a sacrifice unto God this month to get my prayer answered like Solomon. I want to offer a sacrifice to God for a better tomorrow, a better year, week, and day. I want the wisdom of God that will make me ten times better than my equal.

PRAYER

1.    Oh lord! Give me a wise and understanding heart to live a better life.

2.    Oh lord! Let your riches and honor locate me from today.
