WHO DO MEN SAY THAT I AM?

For us to understanding the question that Jesus asked his disciple. We must first understand the five circle of life and that is in mark 13:37 it says what I say unto you, I say unto all watch. Here Jesus is trying to reveal the standard through which God judges and also trying to explain the answer peter reply in the above question.

Now what is the meaning of watch?

Now when Jesus asked who do men say I am? He was asking what do people say about my ways, what do people say about my action, about my thought, about my character and about my habit. These are the five circle of life through which God is going to judge man. So Jesus wanted to know;

1.    If the people he preach to have seen or know that He is perfect in the five circle of life. In other for them to know him as the messiah.

2.    Jesus also wants to know whether even his disciples knew that his ways was right. His action was right, his thought, character and habit are right which will make them to know Him as the son of God and which also qualify him to be a messiah. Because a messiah must be right in the five circle of life. Now life is made up of these five circles.

If there is no way there is no life. If there is no thought there is no life etc. for example a table cannot think. So Jesus wanted to weather His disciple and the people knew who he was. But when Peter had a clear understanding and God showed him that Jesus was right in the five circle of life he said thou art the Christ. His answer came from God, and Jesus knew that no flesh can know the five circle of life as that time, he said no flesh have reveal to you but my father. But the question now is, are you right in the five circle of life? I am going to talk on one of the five circle of life and that is character. EPH 4:22 – 29.

Character means your behavior or your conduct or your mannerism, your ways of life. There are different character in the world but hear me. Your character can destroy you spiritually and physically. Your character can destroy your business and your marital home. It can destroy your ministry as a child of God. Your character can make you become rich and it can make you become poor. Character is the key to every man’s success and also is the key to every man’s failure. Your character tells who you are, it reveals your true identity, the character of anything determines what that thing is. So the character of your life will tell weather you are a new creature in Christ or not.

So your character is the final bus-stop through which your destiny are build on, because it takes a solid based character to make a good decision in life. Hear me! The Devil can use your character to stop you from being productive. So watch your character, for He said what I say unto you, I say unto all watch

 Your ways, action, thought, character, and habit. Now that you know He is. Is your ways right?
